The Red Lion Bridal Show was a huge success! The ultra amazing coordinator Amy Lee from Uptown Events pulled off a swankee bridal show right here in Southern Oregon! The vendors were a select group, the best of the best wedding vendors from Southern Oregon. Jane Productions [wedding & event design] was proud to be selected as one of the premium wedding vendors.
One of my favorite photographers, Rachel from Pixy Prints Photography was just a couple of booths down. She brought a super styled photo booth for customers to try out and just have some fun! (Her and I had to take a quick shot with the funny glasses and paper lips....so much F-U-N!)
She took a couple of my bouquets and photographed them for me, thanks Rachel! You are seriously the Best!

my L-O-V-E my calling....
I asked a friend last night...is your job your passion. He answered yes and continued to tell me about when he was a little boy he dreamed of growing up to be a vet. His eyes swelled with tears and I felt the pride he feels in caring for animals. As we sat around the fire I reflected on my choice to start an event design company.
At the end of every event I look around at the space I created and I get teary eyed....the pride is overwhelming at times. It is a very emotional moment for me. (I am sure the fact that I am sleep deprived doesn't help with the emotional state! haha!)
It is in that moment months of hard work realized, it is the final days of creating the little details, it is the friendships that have formed, it is the look on the brides face when she sees her bouquet, it is the completion.
I L-O-V-E to create! I L-O-V-E to play with flowers!
Since I was a little girl I have been creative and free spirited,
I feel extremely blessed to be able to use the gifts that I have been given naturally.

Thank you card from a mother-of-the-bride...
I'd like to share some of the kind words she shared with me.
"...your ideas for the wedding were great! ...so much more than what she (the Bride) had imagined in her mind."...."I've seen all of the pictures now and cry with joy every time I look at them. We were very lucky to have you!!"
~ SandeeMother of the Bride
Funny thing is I am the one that feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this union of love. It was such a pleasure working with these ladies. Such a joyful process! Thank you Sandee and Andrea for trusting me with your vision.

Featured in this photo is the Brides bouquet. This is a European inspired design. This was my first attempt at this style...I must admit, I was in love!

Floral Artistry
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up"
- Pablo Picasso
I like to think of myself not as a florist. I think of myself as a Floral Artist. Not every bouquet is a unique piece of art. But when the oppurtunity arises to create something truly unique and distinctive, well, that simply brings an artist much joy.
While on one of my trips to Southern California working with my sister's company, we were given a challenge. Create a 'green' wedding theme for a display at a book signing. We brainstormed and came up with the idea to tear apart an old computer and use the parts to make various wedding items.
What we didn't anticipate was how much work it is to tear apart a recycled comptuter. We sat in her garage with hammers and other tools hacking away. We laughed so hard as computer parts flew across the room.
At the end of the day, we had created a bouquet, boutonniere, centerpiece, and table number out of computer parts and organic floras. We we proud to display our unique works of art!
I am excited to have a wedding this summer here in Southern Oregon that the bride has an artistic and eclectic flair. We are having so much fun designing her wedding!
